How do you stop students from sharing the QR on WhatsApp?
The QR is a signed token that rotates every 30 seconds (configurable). By the time a screenshot reaches the group chat, it's already expired. Every check-in is also bound to a specific student's phone number and, optionally, GPS location.
Do students have to install an app?
No. Students scan with their phone camera, land on a mobile web page, and check in. On the first scan we remember their number on their device, so every scan after that is one tap.
What does the 14-day trial include?

How is our data isolated from other colleges?
Every table is scoped by college_id and enforced at the database with row-level security. Faculty and HODs never see other colleges' data, and platform admins never see academic content — only tenancy and billing.
Can we export data if we ever leave?
Yes. Full CSV exports of students, sessions, and attendance records are available at any time from the admin dashboard. Your data belongs to your college.
